It is a specialized additive for cementing slurry that is used to lengthen the amount of time it takes for oil well cement to harden and to lengthen the amount of time it takes for cement slurry to thicken in order to facilitate accurate placement. Our Cement Slurry Retarder is compatible with all API Oil Well Cements and can be used for both Primary and Secondary Cementing jobs. It is also manufactured to meet   high quality standards. They have good fluid loss properties and dispersing properties as well.

The rate of cement hydration can be slowed down with the use of a cement retarder, which has an effect that is diametrically opposed to that of accelerators. They are utilized at high temperatures to provide a window of opportunity for the cement slurry to be mixed and positioned.
